A girl sat at a picnic table out along the shore of the beach, it was summer and he was enjoying the sun.
Her Black hair covering most of her face, she tucked it neatly in fold behind her ears showing her pure black eyes and pale skin, if it wasn't obvious by her head and face, her bathing suit was enough to make you realize that she was goth. A black one piece with a pink broken heart marked on it, with matching pink frills on the bottoms, a pair of black sandals and a fake blue rose tied around her ankle gave her pearly legs style and her purple nail polish gave them personality.
Beside her sat a small toy rabbit designed with a "Patchwork childhood" theme in mind.

Kyo, a young looking double tailed fox with brown fur (which was white at the tips of his ears and hair), stepped onto the beach, looking a bit embarrassed. He wasn't wearing a shirt, only blue shorts and sandals, the sun's hot rays would have made him much too hot otherwise. He had a dufflebag with him, which contained some clothes a beach blanket, a couple books, and a couple other things. He head in the direction of Emily and pulled out a beach blanket from his bag and layed it on the sand next to her, giving her a couple curious glances without trying to stare.

Emily caught sight of the boy a few times herself, sharing the same timid glance "U-uh... H-hello." She said quietly, Kyo could detect a hit of French in her voice.

His ears perked up at her voice, "E-Er, hello..." he turned to face her, "I, uh, hope you don't mind me hanging out here."

"O-oh no, its all right, I'm just sitting here by myself... I-It was getting lonely." She said sliding the patchwork rabbit onto her lap.

Kyo sat down on his blanket and gave the rabbit a quick curious glance. "Oh." He chuckles slightly, "It's surprising not many more people are here. It's such a nice day today."

"I Agree, such a lovely day..." She nodded holding the Rabbit close to her semi-flat chest, her face, tohugh shy, showed more then that, she appeared to harbor sadness, and it showed on her face, it looked like she was waiting for someone who had yet to show up after several hours.

He knew it was going to sound rude and intrusive, but he couldn't help himself, "What's that doll you have?" He asked in regards to her rabbit.

"O-Oh... This is Bonbon..." She says, like she has said it a million times "Bonbon is my favorite doll... I've sewn him and redesigned him by hand for years." She told him, getting slightly more talkative, though yet to raise her voice any higher then it's low volume.

He looked out to the horizon, his tails swaying slightly behind him, "Wow... that's... dedication." He looked back at her with a smile, "But sometimes even inanimate objects can serve as faithful companions if you ask me. I mean, I used to collect all kinds of plushies when I was little!" He added with a chuckle.

A-About that 'inanimate' part..." She lifts up Bonbon to show him "He... isn't Inanimate... He is actually... Alive... in a sense... like he can move around and such..." She tells him as Bonbon starts moving jumping out of Emily's hands and landing in front of Kyo, he then gets up in a way that reminisces Winny the Pooh. The little doll waves at Kyo it's eyes merely a set of Crossed sown lace.

Kyo jumps a little and a surprised look appears on his face. Living dolls!? This is something straight out of a horror flick! he thought. He turned back to Emily, a bit embarrassed an nervous, "W-Wow... uh, c-c-cool!" He was a bit creeped out by the doll.

She looks down at her feet... he was afraid of her and Bonbon... they always are... "I-I... I'm sorry to be a inconvenience..." She slow stood up attempting to leave him before she had a chance to screw it up even more.

"It's.. always the same thing... anyone I meets gets scared... and whenever they do... bad stuff happens..." She was close to tears, the fact that he tried to stop her game her thoughts that he may have wanted to do something about Bonbon, but it was to early to assume such.
