Well, I don't know if I should give up yet or not. I still love him but he won't even talk to me anymore and I don't know why.

Lemme clear up something though before I go any further.

It was the 12th that I textd him saying I was sick of the way he acted. He never spent time with me or did anything to make me feel wanted besides the occasional 'hi' in a text and I mostly had to text him first for him to respond back. I wanted to talk to him and ask him if he really even cared or not but I guess what I was trying to say came out wrong and he only responded with '....... meet me in shepard's tomorrow'. That's his history class and since I have lunch at that time it's easy for me to just go in there on my spare time. The class was taking a test so he gave me a note that said, 'i'm so sick of this. if you're so sick of me then it's over' with the words 'its over' underlined in pen.

I didn't know how to respond so I just left the class but when I got home I broke. I didnt't know what to do at all... And what's worse was that whenever I tried to call or text him he only responded cryptically. His other personality did though and even he didn't understand why Manuel was doing this. Yeah... Manuel has split personality disorder but that's another story. And please keep the SPD a secret from everyone. I don't want it getting out that he has this. Anyway, Alex, Manuel's other persona, he tried to talk to him for a week but Manuel just ignored him. That's very unusual because he usually tells him everything. But that day, when I was lying on my bed crying and pouring my heart out to Alex, he tried to talk to Manuel again and he finally answered. Manuel said he was sorry for hurting me but 'he has some issues to take care of' before leaving both me and Alex hanging again.

And a few days ago I tried to explain to him that he was my world even if he wouldn't listen to me and he responded again with 'i'm sorry' and when i tried asking him why he broke up with me he just said 'it's complicated. just leave it at that.' and then he stopped talking to me again...

Sorry if this is a lot of information at once.... But I was just wondering what your take on this is and if you have any advice for me at all....

Oh... and what I think makes this worse is that he broke up on the 13th... The day he first asked me to be his girlfriend was February 13th of last year...

If he has issues just try to be friends with him so when he is over those issues, you can maybe get back together with him.

Yeah, I'd have to go with Maxi's advice as well, just try to stay friends with him so that when he's over whatever he's hung up upon you can ask him out again.

So let me wrap my head around all this. Manuel is your boyfriend, hes acting cold towards you, so cold he broke up with you. Now you wonder what you should do about this? Am I getting this correctly?

Basically... I don't know what to it just feels like a part of me is missing and I don't know how to get it back... I'm terrified of losing him and it's messing me up. I want to move on but no one around me is like he was...

Alright then I have an idea of what to do, but I want you to know this is an idea that I thought of merely while I was waiting for your reply, don't think its the best course of action just yet. Comfront him, tell him just whats wrong with him all of a sudden, why is he 'sick of this'? If he can't answer that or does not have a reason for this sudden train of thought, then really I don't know what you can do at this point. This is pretty much mostly all I have to say on this, I am no good with relationships cause in a sense I never had one like yours. I love Nina to bits and pieces, but we never felt eachothers warm embrace or anything you two have had so its different.

The problem is that he has split peronality and at the moment he's retreated into his mind leaving only Alex in his stead. So every time I want to talk to him Alex is there instead and he can't get through to manuel either. I hope that made sense

Nina has a split personality so I sorta get what you mean. This dude is a fucking coward to me, thats like me punching someone in the face then leaving to let someone else take the blame. Hes not worthy of having a girlfriend if he can't handle his choice of breaking up with you by atleast listening to what you have to say to him on the subject. Until he takes what hes done fully fuck him.

Maybe... I just really wish I could get his reason for the whole thing. I don't know why he left me and the only thing he told me was, "it's complicated just leave it at that" before kicking Alex out again in his place.

Do you think I should try and find someone else at this point or should I stay single?

Thats kinda a hard question, what I would suggest is going out with guys in a not so serious way just a normal outing if you want, see if he turns around. If hes not snaped back into his senses in a couple weeks I say dump him, your a young woman you don't have much time to waste on some jackass who doesn't seem to give a damn about you at this point. Only reason I am saying you should give him any time at all is cause you two have been together for from what I read a year.

if it was my choice I'd be staying single for some time. Take the time to live your mourning first. I don't think it would be good to just go to someone else. After that is done then you can start looking for someone again. Well, that's what I believe.

Yeah that's what I did the last time we broke up last year. I was still not over him for 6 months and I got sick of waiting for him so I said I was sick of hoping he'd come back to me and I gave him an ultimatum; either do something that will make me stay or I'll walk out of his life. Then he finally convinced me to stay (I dont remember what he said) but I was like, "Fine... I'll stay." Then out of nowhere he said, "OMG I love you let's go out! x3" And I was just like, "Wtf..." after he did that.

well you should start out as friends learn more and more about each other and find out what one likes about the other and what both of you like and work with what both of you like and come to a point where both of you are boyfriend and girlfriend it will all work out in the end.

I actually already know everything about him including his darkest secrets he hasn't told anyone else so that's already covered. It's the fact that he won't talk to me now that's bugging me... But I'm no longer trying to get him back anymore. I have Akito now and he makes me happy.
