Theo continued on with them, trying to get them to hurry up faster because he was afraid the captain would catch them.

The pirates were still on their tail at this moment, catching up a little.

Theo looked back. He had to do something to keep the pirates away. He let Zoey hold the girl for a moment and grabbed a big rock and threw it at the pirates then went running.

The rocks thrown by Theo hits one of the pirates, but the others continue to run after them, their speed being the same and some tiring out from it.

Theo also found himself getting a little tired and was starting to fall behind the group. He was just a kid, he could only be active for so long until he wanted a break.
