Theo kept running and curved around a big tree and quickly climbed up one of them. He had his big stick up there, and a few rocks in his shirt he used as a bag to hold in. Theo was always a good climber, so this still was easy for him, though his fighting, he was forgetting everything about.

The bandits who were carrying Koshinu heard something ''Hide, boys, hide!'' the leader whispers to them and puts a hood over his head. Someone on a horse was approaching on the road and stops when he arrives before the bandit.
''Who might you be, traveler?'' the person on the horse asks.
''Only a humble traveler, sir. Nothing to worry about, sir. I will be on my way, if I may.'' The leader says, smirking under his hood.
''Go and pass then.'' the man on the horse says and the bandit leader walks behind the horse and whistles for his men to come out. Both out with swords in hand and the leader had a dagger out to stab the horse and make it fall and so is the man. The two bandits bounce on the man to grab him with a sword to the throat.
''Hehehe, gimme all your goods now!'' the bandit leader orders.
''Never! I will never give you anything, you scum!'' the man says resisting.
''Hmm... then you'll be slayed. Slay him, boys.'' the leader orders. The bandit nods and slits the man's throat without hesitating and the man falls down dead. ''Now search his body while I look at what he was carrying.'' the leader says looking into the bags the horse was carrying ''Pah... only some bread and water here...'' he says and puts it in a bag.
''Chief, we found a few pieces o' gold and a sword that may interest you.'' one of the bandits who was searching says.
''Very good. Keep it for now and go get back this lil' rabbit. We're moving out o' here before someone else arrives.'' the leader says and starts walking while the others went to take back Koshinu and follow the leader.

''Ya think ya're able to outrun us, lady?'' The pirates after Zoey say ''Speed up a lil'!'' the one at the head orders the others to go faster.
The other pirates stop in front of the tree where Theo was and look up. ''Clim' up now!'' one orders everyone and all of them start climbing ''Not you. You try to take him off by throwing things at him.'' the same one says to one who was about to climb. He smirks and nods before taking branches and rocks that he starts throwing at Theo. The others were climbing to go catch him.

"Bombs away!" Theo says happily, launching a huge rock down at the man throwing things at him, then grabbed his stick and started to beat all of the pirates trying to climb up. He still had more tricks up his sleeve though.

As they were walking, Koshinu woke up on the shoulder of one of the bandits ''Oh what happened...'' He asks himself.
''Quiet, rabbit.'' the one holding him says.
''Oh that's right...'' Koshinu mumbles and remembered that he had no weapon nor the ability to simply fight anymore.

The pirates caught up with Zoey and two of them grab her by the arms ''Gotcha now, lady!'' the head of this small group says with a saber out ''Get'er to the captain now!'' he orders and all of them start to walk to the captain.
The one throwing things got hit by the rock on the head and fell down. The others who were climbing were avoiding the stick and one took his saber to slash at the stick while he was holding himself to the tree and the stick was easily cut by the saber.

Theo threw the stick that he still had at one of them climbing. He started to throw a few more rocks at the climbers but was running out of his tactics he though would work.

''Say, where'd you come from?'' The leader asks Koshinu not turning to look at him.
''Like I'm going to tell you...'' Koshinu says with a growl.
''Bah, you'll have plenty of time to tell us, trust me.'' The leader says.

The pirates holding Zoey came back to the captain ''Boss, we got one of'em. '' One says.
''Excellent. The other ones seem to have a bot of trouble with the lil' one. I'll go take care of this myself. Tie her up and guard her.'' the captain says before he runs to the others. Some of them who were climbing fell down due to the rocks. ''What is that? Can't you catch a child?! Come on, get up and go get him!'' the captain orders his men pointing at Theo. All of them got back up and started climbing again.

"Now it's time for my magic show!" Theo says, throwing a lot of sand, dust, and anything else he had gotten off of the ground into their eyes before jumping off the opposite side. He landed and did a roll but got back up and started to run away, but his legs were hurting. "No pirates will catch me.. just need another stick.." Theo says, but he was getting tired. He grabbed a big stick and went running and hopped into a bush, which he was completely inside of and wasn't really able to be seen. His stick was hidden in it also. This is all I have left.. nothing else I'm trying will work.. Theo thinks to himself. His legs were in so much pain right now.

''Stop worryin' about what we're going to do with you. We're just gonna- oof!'' the bandit not carrying Koshinu says and is hit in the stomach by the elbow of the leader.
''You'll see when we've arrived.'' the leader says.

''Shut yer trap, we don't care what you think!'' the pirate tying Zoey says.
The pirates climbing remove the dust from their eyes, but let Theo escape. ''Grr... bring me the girl here now!'' the captain shouts and sends 2 of his men to go get Zoey who was now hands tied while the captain himself went after Theo with his two sabers out.

Theo was hiding, hoping the pirate would miss him. If he was caught by them, he knew his stick wouldn't be any match for them, he just had to count on his luck of hiding.

''You don't know what you're sayin'. You're talkin' to one of the most dangerous bandit here.'' the bandit holding Koshinu says.

''Keep quiet!'' the one tying her up says and slaps her behind the head.
''Come on out, boy. We got your friend. Come out now or your friend is going to die and you'll be next on the list.'' The captain says with a smirk. The other pirates got Zoey up and brought her to the other pirates where the captain told them to go.

Many thoughts raced through Theo's head. He wasn't too far away, he wouldn't have a chance of getting away anyways. Slowly he got up out of the bush. "Fine.." Theo says, walking over. "Don't hurt her.. and I won't try to escape again." Theo says. He was thinking about trying to trick them. You know, selling a kid to somebody to work for them would be something they may do, and if they did that, he wouldn't have to get away from pirates.

''I'd better tell you mine then. Koshinu the Koshare.'' Koshinu says.

''You know nothing of the captain!'' the pirate says about to slap again, but another one stops him.
''Hey don't waste her. The captain wants her healthy so stop that.'' He tells him.
The captain grabbed Theo quickly by the neck ''You won't be escaping anyway.'' He says smiling evily close to him and then brings him to the others and throws Theo down for two other pirates to grab him by the arms ''Now bring'em both to the ship, we're getting outta here.'' he says. His men nodded and all of them walk away toward the ship outside the forest.
