Name: Ken Kurogane
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Anime/manga: History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi
Personality: Ken grew up in a medium class family. He grew up around good people, people who were kind to eachother and that had an effect on him. He is kind to everyone he meets, even those who aren't kind to him back. He always has a happy smile on his face. He is rarely ever mean to anyone or anything.
He always shows respect. Being with martial arts masters for so long in japan, he always gives everyone he knows honorary titles, whether it be Sempai, Kun, Chan, San, or Sensei.
He never calls anyone out of their name, unless they really trully deserve it. Micheal always bows to people that he first meets, unless he knows they are evil.
Ken is one of the few boys in the world that thinks Chivalry is not dead. He treats every woman he meets respectfully and courteously, even going so far as to open doors for them and escort them to places they need to go if its nearby. He will never hit a girl or show anger at them, its against his own rules. Even in a fight, he will refuse to hit a girl even if it means he will get hurt. Though he will be really shy when he's around alot of cute girls.
Ken is one of the people who act like if he did something amazing, it was nothing. He'll try to blow it off and he'll act non-chalant about it. You will never catch him complimenting himself too often, unless he ackknowledges that he did something good. Usually, that doesn't happen. This gets on people's nerves sometimes, even though they know he means well, but it still irks other people to no end.
He cares about everyone and everything. If you are injured or sick, no matter if you are a friend or enemy, he will care about you. He will ensure your well being (after a battle if you just fought him) by taking you to the doctor or someone who he knows that knows what to do. Even if he can't get to a doctor or anything, he will try his best to cure your wounds.
Bio:Micheal was born into a middle-class family japanese american family. He was half japanese and half american, his mother being japanese and his father being caucausian. His father worked a 9 to 5 job, and his mother became a housewife. He lived in the suburbs of Olympia, Washington for some of his life. He made many friends also, having friends that he had known since toddler-hood. His life was great. His neighborhood was crime-free and clean. Everyone was nice to eachother, and their were no worries for him. He was a good student when he went to kidnergarten, and even was recommended to skip some grades.
Micheal's father got transferred overseas to a town in Japan when he was six, having to leave everything behind him. He didn't hate his father though, because he knew that this would be another adventure. They had to pack up everything in their house, and he also had to say goodbye to all of his good friends and his childhood crush. They rode in a plane for twelve hours, Micheal giddy with enticipation. He would finally get to see his mother's homeland, Japan.
They arrived in a town near Nagasaki, Japan. They were given a house near the schools Micheal would be attending as he got older. But things were different this time around. Because he was half american and half japanese, he made no friends. Instead, he got picked on daily by the other kids. Though he always got back up and this always scared the other kids when he was younger. This became a trend through elementary school and middle school.
When he was in his freshman year, he made it a goal to make friends. He tried his hardest to make friends, even joining different clubs to try to make friends. He still got beaten up and tortured. Even people who actually wanted to be his friends stayed away, being afraid that they would be beaten up too if they got close to him. But then a new classmate came. It was a girl, who seemed normal enough. But this girl wanted to be friends with him, after seeing him when he was in the Karate club's base, cleaning up for them instead of actually training.
One day, after school, he saw the girl standing up to some gangsters. He stayed nearby though, too afraid to come and help her. When they started to attack her, he was amazed at what he saw. She actually defeated them all easily. He asked her how she learned how to do martial arts like that the next day. She drew a map for him and told him that if he wanted to learn martial arts, go to that place.
After school, he went to the to destination marked on the map. It was a dojo with huge doors. He couldn't get in the first time he tried to open the doors. A huge old man came and opened the door with one finger. That was his first encounter with the masters of the dojo known as Ryozanpaku. Since then, he has trained with them, even staying there after a while, becoming a home pupil. He has become a great martial artist in his own right, being at almost master levels in Ju-jitsu, Chinese Kempo, Karate, and Muay Thai. He has been through training that would cause any normal person to literally die within the first couple days. But he managed to endure 4 years of it, and it has payed off greatly.
He has now moved away from that place however, trying to make a life for himself. Right now, he works as a gardener for a nearby shop, but sometimes he goes to the underground fighting rings to make some extra spending money.

Techniques (since in the anime and manga, they don't have magic or weapons in most cases, but techniques. And since he has ALOT, i'm gonna explain them in RP when I get to them. Right now, i'm gonna post his strongest and most useful attacks)
Strongest Combo: Yamatsuki(Karate), Kao loi(Muay Thai), Ugyuu Haitou(Chinese Kempo), and Kuchiki Daoshi(Jiujitsu)
Strongest Combo 2: Shutou Yokogan Men Uchi(Karate), Consecutive Teh Khao(Muay Thai), Tanba(Chinese Kenpo), and Seoi Nage(jiujitsu)
Mubyoshi: Kenichi's secret attack. It is a swift and strong punch, using the principles of Karate (moving the punching hand and the non-active hand at the same time as if "connected behind the back through a pulley"), Juijutsu (as if using a sword, by throwing ones body weight into the opponent to cut through a person),Chinese Kenpo (surpassing the limit of the mind with the feeling of sending your hand flying out), and Muay Thai (hit the enemy as if you're punching through him). This techique is translated to "no beat," inspired by Siegfried's description of it not existing in the criteria of the opponent being able to see its movements or analyzing its rhythm. However, the weakness of the movement is that Kenichi needs to place his fingertips onto the opponent for a brief time in order for him to use it properly. Right now, this is Kenichi's second strongest technique.
Seikûken: A defensive technique first deployed by Elder. It involves controlling the entire radius within one's arm length, creating an impenetrable shield around oneself. Odin supplements this technique by releasing high amounts of ki, allowing him to confuse and scare his opponents, causing wayward attacks. The Seikûken can only be erected with a calm mind (i.e. jumping around or moving will make it difficult); if one is not calm, it would be near impossible to erect the Seikûken. In volume 16 of the manga, during his battle with Ken, Odin shows that he is able to overcome this limitation. The Sei type masters at Ryôzanpaku were able to implement Seikûken with just their mind. This technique can be broken, if the user has become frightened or off balance.
Ryuusei Seikuken: A more advanced Seikûken. Instead of controlling the radius of it, Ken reduces the size of the Seikûken into a layer of skin to anticipate the flow of the opponents. As said by the Elder, the person using it must have absolute calmness to use it; even a slight of emotion will disrupt it. This move is described by Miu as the ultimate form of Sei. Although you can read the move of an opponent, it doesn't mean you can necessarily dodge it. There are 2 levels in Ryuusei
Seikûken. The first level is to read the opponent's flow. The second is to imagine your opponent's feelings and heart, and going with the flow, overturn them.
Korui Nuki: Ken's ultimate technique. This techique consists of a strong kick, using all of Kenichi's power directed towards the "korui", the point where the defense of the opponent is the weakest. It's been said by the masters that Ken was able to use the full extent of Korui Nuki against any opponent, truly mastering it. Probably, no member from yomi could withstand it.
Shiraha Nagashi: A technique taught to him to defend himself against armed martial artists, especially those using bladed weapons. As said by his Karate teacher, Sakaki, "when fighting a sword user, you often don't have time to defend and attack". Thus, this technique was developed for this reason. In essence, it is a corkscrew blow which dodges a sword swing and punches the opponent simultaneously. As the weapon is swung, Kenichi begins the punch with the palm of his hand of the clenched fist facing upwards. Before his fist hits the weapon, he turns it counter-clockwise (when using his right hand), which allows his thumb to face up. This allows the weapon to pass along the back of his hand without touching him, effectively dodging the attack. He then completes the rotation while using his shoulder to extend his reach and punch the opponent. It is important to note that Kenichi is known to use this technique against unarmed opponents as well. For example, he uses it when training with Miu at one point. The other time is in his Inter-disciplinary Sparring Match with Tanaka Tsutomu (though in this case he still managed to get grazed.)
